The 310th Bombardment Group was the first 12th Air Force Group to depart for Europe in the Fall of 1942:

and the first B-25 Group on Corsica on December 10, 1943:

Northern Route

The 310th Bomb Group flight crews took their B-25s across the Atlantic via the northern route. A separate map shows some of the 310th's main stopover points and combat stations.
